Two cyclists, a father and his son, die cut down by a car

The emergency services could not do anything for the two victims.

The tragedy occurred Friday on the RD943 in the Gers, at the level of the town of Lasséran, about ten kilometers south of Auch.

For some reason not yet determined, an 18-year-old man mowed down, driving his car, two cyclists, who did not survive.

According to France 3 Occitanie, the victims are a 45-year-old father and his 16-year-old son.

The forty-something died instantly.

The teenager died soon after from his injuries, despite the intervention of the emergency services.

As for the young motorist, he was in a state of shock.

Slightly injured in the accident, he was then taken to the Auch hospital center.
