In order to support the rapid development of drilling technology, in 2017, Sinopec Middle East R&D Center became the first Chinese R&D center to settle in Saudi Arabia’s Dhahran Technology Valley. Sinopec Middle East R&D Center
The Sinopec Saudi Training Center was opened in 2008. It is the first overseas training center of Sinopec to train Saudi Arabian petroleum engineering skilled personnel.
Since its establishment more than 10 years ago, the training center has hosted 1,310 various training courses, training more than 30,000 employees, and has successively exchanged and cooperated with Saudi Aramco Training Center and multinational international training institutions, and has become a partner of the Saudi Drilling Technology Institute.
