It was at 20.15 on Saturday evening that the incident at Hisingen is said to have occurred.

The site of what happened is now cordoned off and the police are searching the area with dogs and helicopters for the perpetrators.

- We have received several independent people who have called 112 and talked about this, says Andreas Odén, duty officer at the police to the newspaper GP.

According to the police, the shots were fired in a residential area on Sommarvädersgatan in Biskopsgården.

The police do not currently know where the shots were aimed.

However, finds must have been made at the site.

- We have no information that anyone was injured.

However, we have seized a car, but I have no information as to why.

We have also blocked off a place that we think is the crime scene, says Sebastian Börjesson, officer on duty at the police to SVT.

At 22 o'clock on Saturday night, the police announced that they had arrested a person.

- A moped appeared in this area and fired a number of shots.

It seems that there were two people on the moped.

One person has been arrested, says Andreas Odén, to TT.

A preliminary investigation into attempted murder or manslaughter has been initiated.
