It was at lunchtime, when police checked two cars that seven of those people were arrested.
At the same time, various shelters were found.
- There were both women and men in the cars, all are taken to the police station, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson for the Stockholm Police.
- In connection with the inspection, the apprehension was found which makes us suspect that it is preparation for aggravated assault, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police, to TT.
- Now the investigation must show what the people would use the shelter for, says Per Fahlström.
In the evening, the news came that they have been arrested on suspicion of preparation for aggravated assault.
- They will be questioned further tomorrow (Sunday), says Robin Simonsson at the Public Prosecutor's Office's press office to TT.
The prosecutor's office does not want to comment on what it thinks the detainees would do.
