12 September 2020Maverick Vinales on Yamaha conquered the pole of the San Marino Motogp scheduled for tomorrow at the Misano circuit, seventh round of the 2020 world championship. 



Excellent second time for Franco Morbidelli, followed by the world leader Fabio Quartararo. Fourth time and second row for Valentino Rossi. 



It is absolute domination of the Yamahas: four bikes of the Japanese company occupy the first four places on the starting grid. The fifth time was set by the Australian Jack Miller, then Francesco Bagnaia, Alex Rins is seventh, Joan Mir eighth Andrea Dovizioso ninth and Johnny Zarco tenth. 



Vinales set the track record, 1'31 "411, trailing Morbidelli by 312 thousandths, Quartararo by 380 and Rossi by 466.
