In a press release, Jönköping Marathon writes that the plan has always been to hold the races in October, but that you can not control the rules but must comply with the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations.

Among other things, they write:

"As it looks now, we are not allowed to start more than 50 people at a time".

On the 3rd and 10th of October you will be able to run the races on site.

Those who can not visit Jönköping can instead choose to complete the race in their home environment, it says in the press release.

All registered participants will now receive an email with booking of day and time.

For participants in the Jönköping Marathon Virtual Edition +, this means that you have to run the race between 21 September – 18 October.
