In Paris, 200 people were detained during the rally of "yellow vests"

"As of 15:00 (16:00 Moscow time - RT), during today's demonstrations, law enforcement officers have detained 200 people and issued 35 fines," the metropolitan police said in a statement on Twitter.

According to the TV channel C News, quoted by TASS, at the moment riots continue in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, in the west of the city, with 80 to 100 demonstrators participating.

It is reported that the protesters confront the police on Wagram Avenue and Marshal Juen Square.

Demonstrators are trying to break through the police cordon and reach the Place de l'Azve and the Champs Elysees.

Earlier it was reported that law enforcement agencies in Paris used tear gas during the protests of supporters of the "yellow vests" movement.
