The Consultation Framework therefore asked the ANE on Thursday to refer it to the executive so that it launches political consultation as quickly as possible, as confirmed by Marcel Djimassé, who represents the presidential majority.

Opposition and civil society, for their part, are committed to accepting an extension of the presidential and parliamentary mandates.

They will demand in exchange a government of national unity chaired by one of them.
