the guarantors and facilitators of the Peace Agreement for the Central African Republic
" which lasted all day Thursday, as confirmed by representatives of the presidential majority, the opposition. and civil society within the Framework.
But "
time is running out and the hardest part is in front of us
", recognize the same diplomatic sources, who recall that the Constitutional Court has conditioned a derogation regarding the postponement of the convocation of voters scheduled for two weeks, to a national consultation which leads to a political consensus.
The Consultation Framework therefore asked the ANE on Thursday to refer it to the executive so that it launches political consultation as quickly as possible, as confirmed by Marcel Djimassé, who represents the presidential majority.
Opposition and civil society, for their part, are committed to accepting an extension of the presidential and parliamentary mandates.
They will demand in exchange a government of national unity chaired by one of them.
