The Romanian international goalkeeper from Lyon, Ciprian Tatarusanu, has been transferred to AC Milan for 500,000 euros, Olympique Lyonnais (OL) announced on Friday before their Ligue 1 match in Bordeaux.

Tatarusanu (34) arrived free at OL a year ago from FC Nantes.

He was Anthony Lopes' understudy but yearned for more playing time.

With Lyon, he only played six games last season, including the semi-final of the Coupe de la Ligue at the end of which he was decisive in the penalty shoot-out against Lille.

Besides OL, Ciprian Tatarusanu played at Juventus Bucharest (2003-2007), Gloria Bistrita (2007-2009), Steaua Bucharest (2009-2014), Fiorentina (2014-2017) and Nantes (2017) -2019).
