The National Police have arrested a 69-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of
sexual crimes
against his students in a bullfighting school in Murcia.
Along with him, a second person has been arrested for having knowledge of the alleged abuses and not reporting them.
Ten victims between the ages of 11 and 27 have been located so far.
The investigation, which is still open to detect more cases, began according to the National Police as a result of information received from the Unit for Attention to the Family and Women (UFAM).
The investigations pointed out that a bullfighting teacher could have been sexually assaulting and abusing his students
for several years
.
The agents received the information last Thursday, and in less than a week they have managed to arrest the alleged perpetrator for his involvement in the
crimes of assault and sexual abuse
, psychological injuries, child pornography, exhibitionism, coercion and sexual provocation.
How it acted
According to the investigators, the detainee used the false alibi of teaching the children through videos in his own home.
With the girls, however, he pretended to perform
therapeutic massages
.
With the information, a search was carried out at the home of the detainee, being able to find the stretcher that could be the one he was using to perpetrate his alleged sexual abuse.
A 51-year-old man has also been arrested for a crime of failure to prosecute crimes.
Apparently he was aware of the alleged sexual practices carried out by the detainee and never reported them.
The arrested person has been brought to justice.
