"Deconfinement of anger", "come many".

While several calls for a new demonstration of "yellow vests" for Saturday in Nantes are circulating on social networks, the prefect of Loire-Atlantique Didier Martin signed several banning orders on Friday.

From this Friday 6 pm until Monday morning, it will be for example impossible to "sell and use fireworks", or "to carry or transport objects which could constitute a weapon by destination".

The sale of alcohol to take away is also suspended, starting this evening.

“According to the available and consistent information (…), one or more gatherings that could bring together several hundred participants are likely to take place in Nantes, on Friday September 11 at the call of the ultra-left Nantes and on Saturday September 12 at the call of the movement of "yellow vests".

(…) Violent individuals are likely to join these demonstrations (…) ”, justifies the prefect.

Musical gatherings prohibited

Two other orders were taken by the prefecture, this time to anticipate possible free-parties.

"Festive gatherings of a musical nature" which have not been authorized are therefore prohibited throughout the weekend and throughout the department.

Ditto for the movement of heavy goods vehicles carrying sound equipment that can be used for this type of event.
