In June, Tarasov announced his intention to include Yaroshenko in a class action lawsuit by American human rights organizations against the administration of Danbury prison.

Konstantin Yaroshenko was arrested in 2010 in Liberia during an operation by the American special services and taken to the United States.
Prior to that, Yaroshenko had never been to the United States or committed any crime anywhere else.
The American court sentenced the pilot to 20 years in prison for drug smuggling.
