The Jordanian News Agency "Petra" quoted an official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces as saying that there were no injuries in the explosion that occurred at dawn today, Friday, in one of the ammunition depots under dismantling in Zarqa.
Earlier, explosions occurred in the Ghabawi area, east of the Zarqa Governorate.

Al-Adayleh added that the preliminary investigations indicate that the explosion was caused by an electrical short in the warehouses, which are located in an isolated and uninhabited area and are subject to direct surveillance by cameras.
The Public Security Directorate warned against circulating old data and rumors about the Zarqa explosion tonight under penalty of legal accountability, confirming the circulation of an old statement dating back to an accident that occurred about a year ago, after news of two dead and three other injuries.
