According to him, many diabetics feel that they have been hit hard by the Swedish Transport Agency's interpretation of the EU driving license directive, which only looks at the results of a synthesis test.

- I think they are too strict, it is too zealous interpretation, says Hans Jönsson.

The Swedish Transport Agency is now investigating whether the regulations should be adjusted after they have carried out reviews of how the authority currently interprets the EU driving license directive.

But Hans Jönsson points out that it takes too long, as there is no timetable for when new guidelines may come into force or what they would mean.
