Brazilian Paris superstar SG Neymar announced on social media Friday his return to training, suggesting he was well cured of the new coronavirus, contracted in early September.

"I have returned to training. Super happy," the player wrote on Twitter, in a message followed by the hashtag #CORONAOUT.

Contacted by AFP, his club did not confirm whether he had trained on Friday with his teammates.

The Parisian N.10 tested positive for Covid-19 on September 2, after a vacation in Ibiza which created controversy.

In addition to him, other players who have rubbed shoulders with him on the Spanish island have contracted the new coronavirus, including Keylor Navas, Mauro Icardi and Marquinhos.

In all, PSG has identified seven patients, the latest being Kylian Mbappé, who was forced to leave the gathering of the France team.

The announcement of "Ney" is good news for his team who, without many executives, lost for their return to Lens (1-0) on Thursday.

But it is not certain that he can play the "Clasico" of the L1 against Marseille on Sunday.

His trainer Thomas Tuchel has already warned, Thursday, that he intended to use his returning players sparingly, given their poor fitness time.

"If they are there, OK, but they will be in a physical state where I cannot expect them to be decisive," assured the German.
