SVT Nyheter Halland and other media have this past week reported on, among other things, a police operation against a major riot with about 50 involved and recurring vandalism at preschools during the weekends in Åsa.
According to both the police and the residents, many young people with mopeds gather in the town during weekend evenings and nights.
- We really have good parents and good young people in Åsa, but there have been far too many from different parts of Kungsbacka municipality who have gathered in the same place the last few weekends, says Johanna Ljungborg.
In addition to the increased presence of non-profit night walkers, the municipality's leisure center will also be open extra on Friday evening.
