In the clip above, Margareta talks about suddenly "not having anyone who cares" and the difficult feeling of total loneliness.

Margareta, who lives in Örebro, and her husband Jens were married for almost 50 years.

They had no children of their own and the loneliness has been great, even though she has friends and nieces and nephews.

But in everyday life she lacks someone to talk to, something that became even clearer during the corona pandemic.

- Two days a week I go for a walk with the day care and many times you have a doctor's visit and a bit of that.

The weekends are the hardest, then I do not want to disturb.

Then you are alone and not allowed to talk to anyone, says Margareta.

Looks bright on life again

She is grateful for the day care in the municipality, and even though the corona pandemic put a stop to visits from the siblings this summer, she sees life brightly.

- I have even started to think that it is fun to cook, I did not think so for a while.

Then I did it just because I wanted food, but now I think it's fun.
