Lithuanian Foreign Minister says about insufficient EU sanctions against Minsk

“The sanctions provided by the EU (against Minsk) are not enough.

We must demand legal responsibility for the crimes committed, ”TASS quoted him as saying. 

The Foreign Minister called on the European Union to take joint actions in this direction.

“The EU must demonstrate unity and demand responsibility for repression,” he said.

Earlier it was reported that Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who ran for the presidency of Belarus, supported the EU's plans to impose sanctions against the Belarusian authorities.
