Reuters quoted Amichai Stein, a diplomatic correspondent for the Israeli public TV station Kan, as saying on Friday that Bahrain will normalize its relations with Israel, without mentioning a source of his information.
For his part, "The Times of Israel" correspondent Raphael Ahren said that US President Donald Trump will announce today that Bahrain will join the United Arab Emirates in establishing official relations with Israel.
Walla correspondent, journalist Barak Rafid, also quoted an Israeli official as saying that the White House will announce within hours that an agreement has been reached to normalize relations between Bahrain and Israel.
There was no immediate comment from the White House.
Next Tuesday, Trump will host a ceremony at the White House, to sign the Israeli-Emirati agreement, which was announced on August 13.
Amichai Stein said that Bahrain's Crown Prince Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa will be in Washington next Monday.
