Salvador Illa does not rule out "specific" measures for Madrid

Rosa, the maid who occupied the house where she worked after the 75-year-old woman she cared for died of Covid, has been evicted this morning by the workers of the Desokupa company directed by Daniel Estévez.

The woman

had reached an agreement to leave the house next Monday

but finally

gave in

to leave at four in the morning on Friday to another property in the area.

The usurper has signed a letter advised by her lawyer in which she indicates that she is leaving the house and that

none of the belongings that were in the house are missing.

After several days of neighborhood protests and unsuccessful negotiation attempts, the family's lawyers, with the collaboration of the Police, had succeeded in getting Rosa Abigaíl, the squatting attendant, to commit to leaving the apartment "

without money or other compensation

."

And it is that supposedly a few weeks ago she had asked for money to leave the apartment.

The events date back to March this year, at the height of the pandemic.

On the 30th, Pilar,

a 75-year-old woman,

died at her home in Leganés

due to possible Covid-19, according to the death report.

At that time, her daughter Rosana, who lives in another house, was infected and spent 40 days in the hospital plus another two months in rehabilitation.

After that time and with her strength recovered, Rosana learned that Rosa Abigaíl RT, a 33-year-old Peruvian woman who assisted and helped clean up Pilar,

had ordered the cremation of her mother "on the grounds that she had no children." changed ownership of supplies and insurance "as sole beneficiary".

In addition, the maid had resided in the house since then along with 5 other people "to whom she sublets the three rooms," according to what Juan José, Rosana's current partner, has told Europa Press, to whom she did not give personal belongings or cured meat. of the deceased.

Then, they

filed a complaint at the police station for usurpation of a home and for identity theft against Rosa and another extended one against the funeral home for cremation without family consent and for desecration of the corpse.

As indicated, they have verified that without permission Rosa Abigaíl

put the electricity and water bills in her name on March 20

, ten days before the death of the owner of the house.

In addition, some neighbors saw Pilar buying bread on March 29.

For this reason, Juanjo "does not agree" that he could die of a disease such as the coronavirus, which has a prolonged terminal process, a day after walking down the street in apparent good health.

With all this, along with other indications that they do not want to reveal, they have contacted a lawyer to collect evidence and testimonies with which to

accuse Rosa Abigaíl of a possible crime of homicide.

The problem is that, when the body is cremated, it is much more difficult to gather hard evidence to support this thesis.

The case is already prosecuted for the issue of the usurpation but the

National Police has not opened any investigation for the moment for homicide

, police sources have indicated to Europa Press, who also assure that the assistant lived in the family home.

The boyfriend of the daughter of the deceased, on the other hand, assures that

Rosa was not an intern and only went two hours a day to clean in that house for only seven weeks

and that she did not spend the night there.

They have to find out if, as I said, she was a social worker for the Community of Madrid.

It also considers that the investigation for the alleged homicide will begin at the moment in which they provide the evidence and indications they are collecting.

Rosa's children have indicated that despite recovering the house they will continue with the legal proceedings.

"She asked us to withdraw the complaint against the funeral home, but we are not going to do so. And we are collecting evidence to investigate my mother's death," Rosana remarked.
