The Belarusians must make a decision about the future of their country, ”RIA Novosti quotes Babis.

As the prime minister emphasized, the Belarusians should hold "free elections" themselves.

“We cannot impose anything on the Belarusians, we only say that they have the right to free choice,” the politician added.

On September 2, Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei said that the Ukrainian scenario of a "color revolution" in the republic had been avoided.

Also, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke out against the repetition of the Ukrainian scenario of events in Belarus. 

The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, also said that "no one is interested in making a new Ukraine out of Belarus."
