His specialty is epidemics, Public Health and Biostatistics, subjects he teaches as Professor of Epidemiology at Harvard, near Boston (Massachusetts, USA), where 161 Nobel prizes have come from.

Single and father of two children, when he is not working he likes to

ride a bike

or make trips on a motorcycle - "in this order," he says - and

go to the mountains
