GILLES VARELA / 20 MINUTES

The fuel was huge, but it ended up driving them straight into court.

Two young people, aged 22 and 21, were taken into police custody this week at the Toulouse central police station (Haute-Garonne).

They are suspected of being the famous "customers", authors of a gigantic tank of fuel, 2,500 liters, in a service station of the ring road.

The case was tied in the night of July 31 to August 1.

Just before this non-standard refueling, the truck of a recovery company was fractured and the "fuel card" which was inside stolen.

It was thanks to her that the suspects paid their full price.

Flatbed truck loaded with cans

From a police source, the investigation showed that they had planned all the logistics of the operation since it was a flatbed truck, loaded with cans, which came to the service station.

The oldest of the suspects was employed by the recovery company for a time.

The two acolytes, who have only partially acknowledged the facts, will soon be summoned to the criminal court.
