Gérald Darmanin, Minister of the Interior, announced on Twitter that he was filing a complaint against the "yellow vest" Jérôme Rodrigues.

The latter had likened, on Twitter, the police to a "band of Nazis" during an exchange with the Synergie-officers union.

"With you justice only works in one direction," reacted Jérôme Rodrigues.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced Thursday to file a complaint against the "yellow vest" Jérôme Rodrigues, who likened the police to a "band of Nazis".

"The remarks of Mr. Rodrigues towards the police are despicable. In the name of the ministry and to defend the honor of all the police officers, I file a complaint", tweeted Gerald Darmanin.

The minister was reacting to a message from Jérôme Rodrigues, posted on the social network, in which he compared the police to "a bunch of Nazis" during an exchange on Twitter with the Synergie-officers union.

An exchange on Twitter involved

Referring to his call to demonstrate on Saturday in Paris, Jérôme Rodrigues asked the demonstrators not to give their identity in the event of an arrest.

"In the worst case, you will spend four hours maximum at the police station. But will they have enough room to welcome us?", He said in a message posted on social networks.

"We have enough room to welcome you," replied the Synergy-officers union, attracting another response from the "yellow vest".

"It is clear you Nazis, you will go and open the concentration camp available north-east of Paris, the one you are trying to hide from the media," he wrote on Twitter.

Synergie files a complaint

Jérôme Rodrigues was also quick to react to the announcement of the filing of a complaint by Gerald Darmanin.

"You will also file a complaint in the face of the insults they (the police, editor's note) throw at me! With you, justice only works in one direction and I repeat you have mutilated me, you have insulted me and I will never be silent ! ", he wrote on Twitter.

The Synergie union also announced that it would file a complaint.
