“According to information from regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, September 9, 20 forest fires were liquidated in Russia on an area of 246 hectares,” the ministry said in a statement.
By the end of the day, 19 forest fires were active in Russia on an area of 624 hectares, on which active extinguishing work was carried out.
