Prosecutor Lena Jansson does not want to go into details about either the suspects or the investigation, but she is clear that it should not have been an inside job.

In other words, none of the suspects should have any connection to the Armed Forces.

It was in February this year that two vehicles were stolen from the Armed Forces' area in Enköping: the Command Regiment.

A national alarm was issued by the police and a large search operation was launched.

The vehicles were of the type Terrain car 16, also called Galten, an armored type of personnel vehicle.

A few days later, one of the vehicles was found in Tillberga north of Västerås, 40 km from the theft site.

Another day later, the other vehicle was found 70 km from the crime scene, in Möklinta north of Sala.

Prosecution shortly

The final notification was actually intended to be made this week but has now been postponed for at least two weeks.

- One of the suspects has requested a new defender and she must read up on the case.

The prosecution will therefore be postponed by at least two weeks from the day before yesterday, says prosecutor Lena Jansson.

Prosecution is thus expected to be brought at the end of September.

In the clip below, witness Annie tells how she found one of the vehicles:
