, published this Thursday, Brigitte Macron said she wished to "carry the voice of those who cannot be heard", of children victims of violence, a fight she wants to lead alongside the director Andréa Bescond.

"My goal is to bring the voice of those who cannot be heard," said Brigitte Macron in this interview conducted at the end of August, explaining that "more than one in two letters" received at the Elysee "emanates from a child, a teenager or parents who report physical, psychological and sexual violence ”.

An expanded mission

While the Secretary of State for Children and Families Adrien Taquet announced in August the creation of an "independent commission on sexual violence against children" in the fall and a bill "in 2021" , Brigitte Macron assures us that he is "determined to make all the ministries work together: Justice, the Interior, National Education, Health".

To fight against violence against children, Brigitte Macron would like "the mission of the child's health record" to be extended "beyond medical monitoring, to the question of his family and emotional environment".

"Andréa, I will always be by your side for your fight"

"It would almost take a user manual, a guide to help parents today," said the first lady.

In 2018, Laurence Rossignol, then Secretary of State for Children and Families, decided to include prevention messages on non-violent education and on the shaken baby.

“Andréa, I will always be by your side for your fight,” Brigitte Macron wrote to Andréa Bescond on the evening of Emmanuel Macron's election.

The director is herself the victim of sexual assault when she was a child and recounts this drama in the film "Les Chatouilles" published in 2018, she will publish a series of three books for children on September 16.
