A 16-year-old teenager was arrested this Thursday morning in Finistère.

He is suspected of having assaulted and hit a bus driver on Tuesday evening in Saint-Renan, not far from Brest.

It was around 8 p.m. when the alleged perpetrator violently attacked a 30-year-old man outside the vehicle.

The bus driver got out to intervene.

Enough to calm the situation at first.

The teenager wouldn't have appreciated seeing a bus passenger filming him with his phone.

Annoyed, he would have tried to climb aboard the vehicle to do battle.

The driver intervened again but this time suffered many kicks.

The teenager then fled.

Investigators had no trouble finding him.

Identified thanks to video surveillance, the young man is already well known to the gendarmerie services, in particular for acts of violence.

He was arrested this Thursday at the family home.
