A large explosion in the Jordanian governorate of Zarqa

The Jordanian state television announced in urgent news Thursday-Friday night that explosions occurred in the Al-Ghabawi area, east of the city of Zarqa, to the east of the capital, Amman. Today, Friday, at dawn, in a warehouse containing unsuitable mortar bombs belonging to the armed forces - the Arab Army is located east of Zarqa.


Al-Adayleh added that preliminary investigations indicate that the explosion was caused by an electrical short circuit in the warehouses, which are located in an isolated and uninhabited area and are subject to direct surveillance by cameras.

"According to the General Command, until this moment, no injuries were recorded as a result of the explosion," he said.
