In detail, the decision specified, according to the legislation in force in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, a number of cases that necessitate seizing the vehicle, and the financial value of releasing the reservation.

Where the financial value of removing the seizure in the event of bumping into the police patrol or causing damage to it is 50 thousand dirhams, in addition to the violator bearing the value of the damage caused to the police patrol.

The decision referred to the conditions for dismantling the vehicle reservation that is decided to be seized according to Ministerial Resolution No. 178 of 2017 regarding the rules and procedures for traffic control, as they are released after the expiry of the specified period for seizing the vehicle, and the payment of the amounts specified for the removal of the vehicle reservation, according to each of the cases specified by the decision This is part of Abu Dhabi Police’s endeavors towards the permanent modernization of traffic systems and procedures according to the highest standards and in line with the achieved police achievements.
