The Pope shows a muzzle and hand sanitizer in the weekly interview

The Pope of the Vatican, Francis I, appeared yesterday, wearing a face mask (a muzzle), and using a hand sanitizer, during a public interview in the Vatican, in the open air, attended by members of the audience.

The 83-year-old Pope, who is not usually shown with personal protective equipment, removed his muzzle while getting off a car in Saint Damazo Square, in the Apostolic Palace.

The Pope went to Al-Baha to attend the weekly interview, which is a regular event, which reopened to the public only last week, more than six months after this was restricted due to the Corona pandemic.

The Pope exchanged dialogue, while he wandered around with the audience, accepting gifts such as: cakes, books and flowers, and signing letters.

But he constantly kept the spacing.

During the interview, the Pope described health as a "public good" and reiterated that any vaccine against the Corona virus should be available to all.
