The minister noted that "this can hardly be explained by an unexpected investment boom."
“It is obvious that the introduction of labeling simply entailed the emergence of individual companies from the shadows,” said Manturov.
According to him, “as a result, the share of illegal products on the tobacco market for the year decreased from 15.5% to 10.5%”.
He added that "receipts to the budget of excise taxes for 7 months increased by 54 billion rubles."
Earlier, the Izvestia newspaper reported that pet owners from 2021 may be required to label them and register them at their own expense.
