German media RTL says on its website, according to its source data, that Mick Schumacher will drive his first kilometer in a new F1 car on the Mugello track next weekend.

According to RTL, Schumacher is scheduled to drive Friday’s free practice in an Alfa Romeo or Haas car.

Both are Ferrari customer stables.

Schumacher debuted at the wheel of an F1 car in April 2019 when he drove a Ferrari SF90 car in Bahrain tests.

Now he’s getting into the race weekend.

The Tuscan GP is run in Mugello.

It is the 1000th F1 race in Ferrari history and the second of three races on Italian soil.

21-year-old Schumacher was not yet one of the hottest talents in the sport as a teenager, but the wild performance in the 2018 formula 3 series caught the attention of the F1 teams.

Schumacher has been an official member of the Ferrari Driving Academy since early 2019.

Schumacher is currently second in the Formula 2 World Championship with the Prema team car.

He has won two of the races of the season, most recently the most recent race in Monza.

Ferrari team manager Mattia Binotto has previously said that Schumacher’s rise to race driver F1 is only a matter of time.

The son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher has been speculated for next season, for example, to replace Kimi Räikkönen in Alfa Romeo.
