The bill against separatism, a project

launched by Emmanuel Macron in February against religious communitarianism

, must be presented to the Council of Ministers in the fall.

“

We are in the process of finalizing it,

” said Marlène Schiappa.

Among the measures already announced,

the creation of a "

contract of engagement on secularism

 "

that the associations will have to sign with the end of the subsidies in the event of non-compliance with this charter, in particular on gender equality.

Gérald Darmanin will also "

propose to penalize

" the certificates of virginity issued by certain doctors before a religious marriage, a practice already condemned by the Council of the Order of Physicians.

For Ghada Hatem, gynecologist and chief physician at the Maison des femmes in Saint-Denis,

the fight must be waged differently

.

“

I think it's a bad idea,

” she explains to Valérie Cohen's microphone.

I don't think the subject is to make or not to make virginity certificates.

The subject is why young girls born in France feel the need, to be able to stay with their family, to benefit from an arranged marriage, since in general, that's it, and to be validated by a doctor. as still virgin?

 "

“

The solution is to educate all possible generations.

Normally, all young people in this country should have three times a year, from Kindergarten to Terminale, the opportunity to exchange with people who have come to talk to them about sex education, respect and autonomy.

If we did it three times a year, adapting our discourse to the age of the young people in front of us, I think we would have more young girls who would understand that they are not obliged to submit to their parents.

And then perhaps parents should also be educated.

Because parents have to stop demanding that from their daughters.

They hold their daughters by this idea: “If you don't want to get married as I see fit, you will leave the clan.”
