A study found that nearly half of those who recovered from Corona 19 suffer from a variety of serious sequelae, including respiratory problems and hair loss.

The Washington Post (WP) made the same statement on the 8th (local time), citing a study by a medical team in Bergamo, Lombardy, northern Italy.

In Bergamo, the situation of Corona 19 is relatively stable now, but at the time of March and April, it was one of the representative corona 19'hot spots' (concentrated outbreak areas) in Italy.

Medical staff in the Bergamo area conducted an in-depth investigation of their health, along with tests of blood, heart, and lungs for those who recovered from Corona 19.

Serena Venturelli, a local infectious disease expert, said nearly half of the survey responded "No" to the question "do you feel healed from Corona 19?"

After being infected with Corona 19, the virus disappeared from the body through treatment, but it is said that it suffers from sequelae.

Of the 750 corona19 recoverers surveyed so far, about 30% suffer from lung scarring and resulting respiratory problems.

Another 30% suffer from inflammation or blood clots linked to heart problems or arteriosclerosis.

Some have been reported to be at risk of impaired kidney function.

Many people complain of leg pain, hair loss, depression, and severe fatigue.

A 54-year-old woman said she suffered from breathing problems that caused her to gasp when climbing stairs.

"I feel like I'm 80 myself," she said.

Giuseppe Babasouri (65), who also recovered from Corona 19, is showing signs of short-term memory loss.

He runs a funeral home and relies on memo papers for this.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans revealed spot-like damage in his brain.
