Boeing faces new technical issues.

Already hit by the 737 MAX crisis and the Decoronavirus pandemic, the American aircraft manufacturer is experiencing a new setback with the identification of manufacturing defects on the 787 Dreamliner.

Which should affect the delivery of this long haul.

Boeing noted a defect in the horizontal stabilizers that keep the aircraft in balance.

Therefore, the manufacturer decided to check both aircraft in construction and in service.

These unplanned inspections are expected to delay deliveries of the 787 in the short term.

A total of nearly 900 aircraft could be affected by this defect, which is in addition to two other technical problems detected on certain aircraft.

A situation which amplifies a little more the difficulties of the American giant which still faces the crisis of

its model 737 MAX

, banned from flight since March 2019 after two fatal accidents.

Especially since the pandemic which particularly affects global air transport is only making the situation worse for Boeing.

Orders for the aircraft are down sharply and ticket sales are plummeting.

Result, the group, size in its workforce.

The aircraft manufacturer plans to

cut more than 16,000 jobs.
