Saleh’s office spokesperson Razwan Murad wrote on personal social media: “Today (9th), the enemies of Afghanistan again tried to harm Saleh, but they failed to achieve their evil goal. He escaped the attack without any harm."
Razwan Murad said that the target of the bomb attack was Saleh’s convoy and some bodyguards were injured.
Ministry of Health officials said that so far, two bodies and seven wounded have been taken to the hospital.
