At present, the attack has caused at least 10 deaths and 16 injured.

Saleh was not injured in the explosion.

  Tariq Arian, spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior, confirmed that 10 people were killed and 16 injured in the explosion against Saleh's convoy.

  Saleh’s office stated that the target of the attack was Saleh’s convoy, and Saleh was not injured in the explosion.

But three people in his convoy, including bodyguards, were injured in the explosion.
