“
I describe Donald Trump as the leader of a cult.
I myself was involved in this cult,
”admits Michael Cohen.
The lawyer, a former executioner of the president's dirty work, was sentenced to
three years in prison
for lying under oath before Congress to protect his client.
But he is serving his sentence at home due to the pandemic.
In his book,
Disloyal: A Memoir
, he curls up his former client.
He judges him to be "
incompetent
", "
egocentric
", "
liar
", "
racist
".
And give MSNBC an example:
“
Right after the death of Nelson Mandela, I mention it in my book, he asked me to quote him a country ruled by a black man who was not an asshole.
And I cited the United States.
He said fuck you ...
"
More seriously, less than two months before the elections, Michael Cohen believes that Donald Trump will stop at nothing to stay in the White House.
“
Donald Trump is ready to do anything to win.
I think that includes manipulating the elections.
I think he is even ready to go to war to prevent being removed from office.
"
The White House has responded to statements by the president's ex-lawyer.
"
Michael Cohen is a liar who is only looking to advertise himself,
" said the spokesperson for the presidency.
