08 September 2020 She was killed by a young man, apparently with psychiatric problems, who entered the house where she worked as a housekeeper and babysitter in Switzerland.

The woman tried to defend the child entrusted to her, but in the house - from what has been learned - there were also two other children.

The victim, according to what some Venetian newspapers that gave news of the tragic story have written, is a 46-year-old woman, Teresa S., originally from Calabria but who has long since moved to Verona where her husband and three adult children live.

The murder took place in St. Gallen in German-speaking Switzerland a few days ago, but the investigators recently disclosed the details of the babysitter who bravely faced the murderer to prevent him from lashing out at the children who were at home.

Today in Palù (Verona) was celebrated the funeral of Teresa who leaves her husband Salvatore Elia, and the children Simone, Giuseppe and Sarah.

Only the intervention of the Swiss police put an end to the violence of the aggressor who was killed by the gunshots of the agents when unfortunately there was nothing more to be done for the babysitter.

The attacker is a Swiss, who died instantly.
