The Criminal Investigation and Investigation Services of Sharjah Police arrested members of a gang formation consisting of (11) persons of Asian nationality, who stole (662) computers with a financial value of more than two million and four hundred thousand dirhams, from a warehouse of one of the companies working in the field of electronics in the emirate .

In detail, the director of the Criminal Investigations Department, Colonel Omar Ahmed Boual-Zoud, said: A report came from a company specialized in the field of selling and trading computers, stating that 662 laptop computers were stolen from the company's warehouse in one of the industrial zones in the emirate.

And by forming a team for research and investigation, and intensifying efforts, it became clear that the gang formation had implemented its plans in a "stealthy" manner to mislead the police agencies and escape from their grip. However, the experiences of the investigators in dealing with various events thwarted their criminal plan, and led them to arrest the perpetrators one by one. , Although no concrete evidence was available at the scene of the accident.

Colonel Abu Al-Zoud stated that the perpetrators deliberately stole two cars to transport the stolen items, cut off the CCTV installations in the warehouse, and stole the digital storage device for the data of the photographed material, in addition to carrying out the theft without leaving any evidence or fingerprints indicating their identity.

He explained that the inference report guided that planning the theft was organized, starting from the prior monitoring of the warehouse, distributing roles, and reaching an agreement with a person, to complete the sale of devices immediately after obtaining them, and flee from the police.

The Director of the Criminal Investigation Department indicated that the members of the search and investigation team dealt with this crime with the techniques of expertise, as they analyzed and extrapolated the crime scene, and studied the criminal method, and the team was able to reveal the identity of the perpetrators and track their movements, the link that binds them, and their roles in the case, and prepare a group From the ambushes, which it got from all of them, the recovery of all the stolen items, and the seizure of the tools used in committing the crime.

Colonel Abu Al-Zoud praised the efficiency of the field work team in the administration, and their readiness to deal with all kinds of reports accurately and quickly, which enabled them to arrest all members of the gang, and to recover all the stolen items.  

Calling upon the owners of commercial companies and warehouses to take caution and caution, and to secure warehouses that contain valuable goods and possessions, by placing a guard over them, and to ensure the lighting of their facades, in order to prevent such crimes.

He warned the owners of companies and shops not to be involved in purchasing goods without obtaining invoices or bonds indicating their source, so as not to expose themselves to legal accountability as a result of carrying out such transactions.
