The Sharjah Private Education Authority confirmed that it has started, in cooperation with the concerned health authorities, to conduct Corona examinations for students of private schools in the emirate who are 12 years old and over, and has set five measures to sterilize schools to limit the spread of the Corona virus, according to what was stated in the guideline circulated by the authority. The authority told "Emirates Today" that undergoing a "Covid-19" examination is mandatory for students (12 years and over) before returning to schools in Sharjah, and the examination can be performed in specific places that have been approved by the authority and the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in the emirate. .

She indicated that school student examinations come to ensure that they are free from the Corona virus as part of a series of precautionary measures aimed at making the educational field a healthy and safe environment, especially since the current school year came under exceptional circumstances due to the spread of "Covid-19", so coordination was made with educational institutions. She stressed that private schools in Sharjah must observe the highest standards of sterilization and hygiene before and after their official opening to receive students, and follow them regularly to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, educational staff and employees to maintain their safety and health.

She added that there are five measures followed to sterilize schools in Sharjah to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, which are: comprehensive sterilization of all school facilities before their official opening to receive students, sterilization of all frequently touched surfaces such as door knobs, electrical switches, washbasins and bathrooms, and mandating cleaning workers or workers inside The school wears personal protective equipment while working, observing the standards adopted in the management of waste, especially polluted ones, and naturally ventilating school facilities such as opening windows and air conditioners.
