Prince Harry reimbursed the British Crown for the amount of the renovation of his private residence in Windsor (United Kingdom).

The Duke of Sussex made a donation that "fully covers the costs of renovating Frogmore Cottage," his spokesperson said.

By announcing in early January that they were withdrawing from the royal family, the prince and his wife Meghan had promised to reimburse this work, carried out for 2.4 million pounds (2.7 million euros).

According to a source cited by the

Series and humanitarian commitment

Based in California, the British prince and the former American actress announced on Wednesday that they would produce fiction films, documentaries and series for the streaming platform.

The couple already have several projects in the works, including a nature documentary series and an animated series devoted to women of remarkable destiny, according to Netflix.

Critics have criticized them for seeking to capitalize on their fame and nobility while refusing to take on the formal and representational aspects of the British royal family.

The couple put forward their willingness to work for humanitarian causes, including through their new foundation, Archewell.
