The Swiss Supreme Court has rejected in the name of "sports fairness" the appeal of the South African athlete Caster Semenya, who intended to compete without taking hormonal treatment to lower his testosterone levels, the court announced Tuesday evening.

The hyperandrogenic athlete, whose standoff with the International Athletics Federation has been going on since 2009, immediately announced that she was considering "all international and national remedies".
