At present, the autumn crop corn in Henan has entered the later stage of management. In the high-standard farmland demonstration area in Zhangzhuang Town, Shangshui County, Zhoukou City, Wang Shuai is carrying out pest control on corn according to the information provided by the IoT Command Center.
Wang Shuai can realize the integrated management of farmland by standing at the top of the field. This is mainly due to the high-tech equipment in the high-standard farmland demonstration area. The core area is fully equipped with Internet of Things equipment such as soil moisture monitoring, pest monitoring, and automatic irrigation. Cloud computing and agricultural production are efficiently integrated.
It is understood that through the construction of high-standard farmland in the local area, the grain yield per mu in the project area can be increased by 230 kilograms, and the cumulative annual output increased by 220 million kilograms, driving farmers' income by 230 million yuan.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, 80 million mu of high-standard farmland will be built across the country this year, of which 43.385 million mu has been built in the first half of the year, accounting for 54.2% of the annual task volume.
