C8 decided to change the order of its access by inverting "Take it or leave it" and "TPMP".

Officially, it would be for hygiene issues.

However, it should be noted that the declining audiences may also have something to do with it.

Journalists are mobilizing this Monday morning in front of the Algerian Embassy in Paris in support of Khaled Drareni, the TV5 Monde correspondent in Algeria, whose appeal trial will be held on Tuesday.

The television channels have decided to adapt their programming to pay tribute to Annie Cordy who died at the age of 92.

Several Instagram accounts of the Charlie Hebdo team have been suspended following the publication of the front page of the satirical newspaper.

A new access for C8!

Last Monday, the channel set up an ambitious program for its end of the day.

At 5.45 p.m., the talk show on current affairs "Balance your Post".

At 6:45 p.m., his TV talk show, "Touche pas à mon poste".

And at 8:15 pm, the "Take it or leave it" game.

The three programs are all hosted by Cyril Hanouna, and all three are live.

But this weekend, the channel decided to change its programming.

She will interchange "Don't touch my post" and "Take it or leave it".

The game will now air at 6:30 p.m. and the talk show will continue from 7:40 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. approximately.

Why change so quickly?

Officially, for hygienic reasons.

On Twitter, Cyril Hanouna assured that it was impossible to clean in seven minutes (time for a commercial break) the tray which is used both for "Balance your post" and "Don't touch my post".

In fact, it's hard not to see this change in programming as a quick reaction to the disappointing audiences that the trio of shows has been achieving since it was first aired.

It does not work ?

Not the masses… From Monday to Thursday, "Don't touch my post", which is divided into two parts, gathered around 500,000 viewers in the first part and 700,000 in the second, for 3.4% of audience share.

Last year, the show started around 7.45 p.m. and lasted until 9.15 p.m., which is the schedule it will adopt again tonight.

For its comeback, it had come close to the million on the first part and reached almost 1.3 million on the second.

The audience share was 4.7% and 5.6% respectively.

“Take it or leave it” was far from these scores last week with 450,000 viewers for its first part and 750,000 for the second, or 2% and 3.2% of audience share.

A few minutes ago a gathering of journalists began in front of the Algerian embassy in Paris.

Bernard de la Villardière, Anne-Claire Coudray, Guy Lagache and Harry Roselmack are all expected this morning to support Algerian journalist Khaled Drareni.

His appeal trial will be held tomorrow and several mobilisations have been organized in recent days, in Tunis, Washington and therefore in Paris this morning, to defend press freedom.

Who is Khaled Drareni?

It is the correspondent of TV5 Monde in Algeria, who covered for several months the demonstrations of Hirak, this popular movement of contestation of the Algerian power.

In March, he was arrested while doing his job in the middle of a demonstration, and was charged with "inciting unarmed assembly" and "undermining national unity".

Khaled Drareni was sentenced in August to three years in prison and his appeal trial will be held tomorrow.

Bernard de la Villardière explains to us why he wanted to participate in this gathering this morning.

This demonstration to defend press freedom comes a week after Emmanuel Macron's outburst against journalist Georges Malbrunot.

Many journalists had cried out against the freedom of the press, precisely.

TV pays homage to Annie Cordy

We learned on Friday evening that the Belgian singer and actress passed away at the age of 92.

Adored by the general public, she had recorded 700 songs and appeared in dozens of films.

To pay tribute to him, several channels have decided to shake up their programming, starting yesterday with France 2. In "Les Enfants de la TV", Laurent Ruquier suggested that viewers review or discover the highlights of the career of Annie Cordy.

This evening from 7pm, "C à vous" on France 5 will also be interested in the work of the singer and actress.

On France 2, after the two episodes of "La Garçonne", make way for the TV movie "Illettré", shot in 2018 and in which Annie Cordy played an endearing grandmother.

This is his last role.

Thursday, France 3 deprograms its evening to devote it to Annie Cordy.

At 9:05 pm, Jean-Paul Rouve's film "Les Souvenirs", released in 2015 in which the actress had moved the audience.

The film will be followed by an unreleased documentary called "Annie Cordy, une vie d'artiste".

Has Instagram censored "Charlie Hebdo"?

That's what we thought this weekend.

Saturday evening, journalist Laure Daussy indicated on Twitter that her Instagram account had been suspended after the publication of the front page of "Charlie Hebdo".

On this front page, we talked about it last week, we can review the cartoons of Muhammad published by the newspaper in 2006.

Sunday morning, it was the turn of the designer Corinne Rey to suffer the same fate.

Faced with this apparent censorship, calls to broadcast even more massively the front page of "Charlie" have flourished on social networks.

But was it really censorship?

Yes and no.

Accounts have been suspended, but not at Instagram's initiative.

Contacted by Le Figaro, the social network indicates that everything was restored as soon as it was informed of the situation.

What happened then?

Users massively reported the journalist's and cartoonist's post, so the accounts were automatically suspended.

On the other hand, this was not the case for the Instagram account of "Charlie Hebdo", which had published the front page and which was not censored.

We stay in the world of caricatures with a controversial drawing published in "L'Humanité".

A drawing signed Espé, on which is represented the sports journalist Marion Rousse naked, interviewing the cyclist Julian Alaphilippe, who is none other than his companion in the city, and who seems very, very happy to answer to his questions.

The consultant quickly expressed her disappointment on Twitter: "Disillusioned, L'Humanité bears its name more and more badly. You have to have no respect for women, for women, to lower six years of consulting to this level. sportsman on television ".

Many colleagues followed suit, and the newspaper was quick to respond.

Still on Twitter, "L'Humanité" apologized to Marion Rousse.

"We totally share the indignation at this drawing. We quickly unpublished it. It is contrary to the values of Humanity, which promotes the dignity of human beings and the feminist struggle. We ask Marion Rousse to apologize for this lack vigilance ".

Good news for the cinema!

Yes, because the box office is rediscovering colors!

Since March and the explosion of cases of COVID all over the planet, the world of cinema has come to a standstill, or almost.

International releases have all been postponed or canceled, until "Tenet", Christopher Nolan's new film.

Released on Friday in the United States, “Tenet” generated $ 20 million this weekend.

That's very little for a Christopher Nolan film, but only 65% of American theaters have reopened.

They are still closed in New York or Los Angeles, and given the situation, this start is very encouraging.

Internationally, "Tenet" is doing even better.

The film has already reached the $ 150 million mark, with a very good start in China.

And in France, spectators rushed into theaters.

Nearly a million people saw the film for its first week in theaters, between August 26 and September 1, and the numbers for its second week are eagerly awaited.
