It was at lunchtime on Monday that the alarm came about an accident on road 55 at the height of Sågmon outside Katrineholm.
According to initial information from the rescue service, three vehicles and an equal number of people were involved in the accident.
The Swedish Transport Administration states that traffic is stationary at the site.
According to the rescue service, the three people involved in the accident must "be out of their vehicles".
