The alarm came to the SOS alarm at half past six on Monday morning after a truck and a car collided head-on with each other.

The truck driver has done well, but the lone driver in the car has been taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter.

The injury situation is still unclear but is said to have suffered serious injuries, according to the police.

- The rescue service has just left the site now and rescuers have been called to the scene, says Lisen Sessler, management operator at the rescue center Mitt, at eight o'clock.

The road will be closed during the salvage work.

The police will draw up a report regarding negligence in traffic and workplace accidents.
