In Morocco, the Minister of Health believes that the country "risks being overwhelmed by the Covid-19 virus".

Sunday, September 6, the country recorded more than 2,000 new cases of contamination, including 42% in the region of Casablanca.

The economic capital was therefore imposed new measures: curfew at 10 p.m., and closure of all schools, secondary and universities.

This Sunday, September 6, in Casablanca, several hundred thousand parents and children were delighted at the idea of the big start to school the next day.

After five months without schools, it was about time.

The new back-to-school clothes were ready, some children even fell asleep in bed with their satchels as a blanket.

But finally, around 10:30 p.m., the inhabitants of Casablanca learned via television and the press that all schools would remain closed, for at least two weeks.

The principals and teaching staff had not even been warned upstream.

The news therefore created chaos, and a fateful question: "who will look after the children", when the adults are supposed to go to work.

Many parents are not far from burnout or cry for hold-up.

Thousands of them paid dearly for the entrance fee to private schools, only to benefit from distance education which was to be only a temporary solution.

As for the students of the public, even less well off, they will follow a school program delivered via television.
