The head of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mikhail Volynets announced this on his Facebook page.
“84 miners of the Rodina mine (Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant) remained underground in protest, demonstrating solidarity with the protesters of the October mine.
The demands are joint: an increase in wages, an improvement in working conditions ... an end to violations during certification, "he wrote.
Earlier Volynets reported that in the Ukrainian city of Krivoy Rog in the Dnepropetrovsk region, 29 miners are on strike in the Oktyabrskaya mine and refuse to rise to the surface.
